My Story
It all started at a young age in Bucharest, Romania, in the 90s, when I was first introduced to MTV, boomboxes and home stereo systems accompanied by cassettes and CDs. I developed a fascination for music early on. I was blown away by what it did to me, emotionally and sonically. I wanted to understand all of the sounds that were happening, so I quickly began "tuning" all of the home and car systems I could get my hands on, not so much to make anything sound more like I wanted it to, but instead to have a feeling of involvement with those songs, which was the only way I could at that age.

In my early teens I picked up the electric guitar. That, just like MTV and boomboxes, changed my life. It felt very natural from the start. I began playing 8 hours a day, every day, and just like everyone else, was learning covers of my favorite bands with the goal of eventually writing my own songs, join a band and start recording everything we did. This was the beginning of my musical journey that is ongoing today.

My first real connection with the art of professional recording and mixing began in Dublin, Ireland, where I went to college to pursue a career in music and to develop those skills. The college is part of the renowned Windmill Lane studios, where artists such as The Cranberries, U2, and Hozier had recorded their work. The experience and skills I developed there put me on the path to what would become my full time job.

Growing up listening to my favorite bands, what one does, is to want to be like your idols and so I wanted to be where they were, which in this case was the USA. So I left for Los Angeles after graduating. Soon after, I was presented with an opportunity to work at the iconic Sunset Sound studios in Hollywood, where so many of my favorite artists recorded. It was a dream come true. Ever since, Sunset Sound has been like a second family and still is the place where I engineer today. I was fortunate along the way to meet and work with the best in the industry, the likes of Joe Chiccarelli, Allen Sides, Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol, Miley Cyrus, Paulinho da Costa, Gabriels, Karriem Riggins and many more greats.

Success in the music industry allowed to build up my own home studio, designed for mixing, producing and writing music. Music is simply my lifestyle. In designing and building my studio, I aimed to blend the old school with the new school, with equipment such as, the original AKAI samplers, a diverse range of synthesizers, sequencers, a plethora of characterful effect units and processors and a Pro Tools rig.
To collaborate is to share all those values, the passion and desire for greatness with people that seek them. "Music for the generations" is not just a production, mixing, or recording service, it is a soulful and meaningful musical experience, all with the purpose of creating something of excellence, to create music that is timeless.
